The origin of Mantova (Mantua) dates back to the 10th-9th century BC

Mantua’s historic power and influence under the princely Gonzaga family (XIV to XVIII AC ) has made it one of the main artistic, cultural, and especially musical hubs of Northern Italy and the country as a whole.
